White hills of doom
It doesn’t snow in Seattle very often, but when it does, lots of things are white besides the stuff that snow sticks to. For instance driver’s knuckles turn a nice shade of purplish white and their faces turn a nice shade of pale. Most drivers either become heroes or “french-ish”.
If enough of it sticks on the ground, businesses have snow days or people stay home and find the sweetest hill to sled down on whatever they can find in their trunks. (I suggest checking out 55th St. off of Latona on one of these days) Instead of biking or driving, some will opt for skis to get to and from work.
If it works out, I’ll try to find a nice clear patch to sign my name.
