smooshy
Many people ask about it. The story goes, when I was looking for a domain name back on Christmas Eve in 1998, I wanted something short, memorable, and lovable. At the time, my sweetie had a tendency to call me things like smooshykins, so I figured I’d check that out and I instantly decided that it was perfect. So I purchased it through Network Solutions (who even uses them anymore?) and history was made. I even got a sweet Network Solutions t-shirt for free with “smooshy.com” on the back with the $30/year registration.

Now, smooshy is taking over the internet and maybe one day the world. I recently started a 100% solar powered web hosting and web design company called smooshyLab. I specialize in custom web development work ranging from wordpress customizations to drupal installations and customizations to completely custom development. In my former life, I worked at various medium to large companies as web developer and software engineer, building custom web applications, mobile device SDKs, and backend applications.

In addition to branching out and taking over the world with smooshyLab, I’m also enrolled in Brian Utting School of Massage, a branch of Cortiva Institute. I plan to graduate in June 2008 as a Licensed Massage Practitioner and hopefully will open a massage practice called something like smooshy bodywork with a nifty catchphrase like “Get smooshed” or something lame like that.

I currently live in Seattle, but will probably end up someplace warm as a beach bum/surfer/massage dude one day with my special lady.
