Washington ski areas have received a ridiculous amount of snow last weekend. Here are some pics from Mt. Baker on opening day, Nov 8.
We went skiing to Crystal on Sunday and despite all the skiers swarming looking for some early season skiing, conditions were great. Found some areas of less-tracked snow.

Mt. Hood

Got up early from camping and made our way up to Mt. Hood where the temperature was around 60 deg and the sun was baking above the inversion that started at Timberline. Played in the park all day. Eyeballs got burned.

Visibility was poor. Above midstation had good snow. Wet and slushy below. In general, a good day of skiing when out of the wind. Started snowing in the alpine in the late morning and Harmony was well-sheltered from the wind.
